March blows in to herald the arrival of Spring! Come welcome her blustery return with us on a night hike through the Greenacres’ Woods.
A waxing Gibbous moon will light our way as we explore the early dark of our Beech Maple forest – looking and listening for peenting Woodcocks, singing Spring Peepers and even having a go at calling in some of our owl friends.
Warning: This will be a quiet (at times silent) hike in the dark, without flashlights through the woods. We will be outside the entire hike. Please dress for the weather! The hike will happen even in light rain. Even if it is not raining, the ground is usually wet and muddy, so boots are best! Children must be accompanied by an adult and must be able to follow instructions.
