Programs Overview

The Greenacres Arts Education programming has field trip offerings for local Cincinnati students, which bridge visual and musical arts with the math and science standards of the school system. Summer camp programs are available for the artistic side of the local youth, including offerings like pottery camps and guitar lessons.

School-age Childrens Programs

(Available Tuesday – Friday)

FREE field trips anyone? Have you every danced the solar system? Composed music using dice? Made an elephant out of leaves? The Arts Education Program engages students in music, visual arts, drama, and dance. The staff of the GAC has developed arts opportunities for children to supplement the arts experiences within schools while helping to meet math and science standards. Our goal is to help improve student academic performance and instill a sense of wonder and appreciation for the arts. Learning is hands-on experiential learning√∑just like the extremely successful agricultural and environmental education program that has been successful since 1989.

After-School Programs

We currently offer programming for Scouts to enable them to meet the requirements of many different badges.
