Please join us for a night of food, drinks and entertainment at the beautiful Greenacres Arts center in Indian Hill and make a difference in children’s lives right here in our Cincinnati community.

Every day, the students of Lower Price Hill face the hardships of poverty, including a lack of food, sufficient clothing, a place to sleep, positive role models and exposure to life outside of their neighborhood.

This popular event raises funds to provide students with programs and services that will empower them to reach their academic potential. Over the years, thanks to the dedicated staff at Oyler and the volunteer partnership programs that have been established, we have seen the school emerge from a rating of Academic Emergency to Continuous Improvement.

Funds raised from Wine Down Wednesday support these critical programs, including:

  • Greenacres Student Transportation Fund for Oyler
  • Steps for Success high school mentoring
  • Al Hampton Mentoring for grade school students
  • After-School Work Study
  • Madhatter’s Closet

We hope you and your friends will join us for this fun evening of wine and beer tastings, live entertainment, silent auction, and a mouthwatering menu by Funky’s Catering for you to enjoy.

Greenacres is dedicated to bringing classroom lessons to life through our hands-on educational programs. This July, the Greenacres staff and members of the Greenacres Artists Guild are teaming up with nationally recognized children’s book illustrators Barbara McClintock, Matt Phelan and Ralph Fletcher, the University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum, and Kent State University staff to provide professional development opportunities for art and creative writing educators. This two-day event will deepen the participants’ knowledge and understanding of the arts, specifically visual imagery and visual literacy in classroom and visual arts teachers in order to build artistic and visual literacy skills in children.
