Greenacres is excited to team up with well known Animal Behavior Expert and author of Genetics and the Behavior of Domestic Animals and Humane Livestock Handling, Mark Deesing to provide members of the public for a hands-on cattle handling workshop. Working as a Facilities Design Consultant alongside Dr. Temple Grandin, Mark Deesing has had the opportunity to study a variety of cattle genetics, tempermants, and herding techniques. The techniques highlighted in this workshop will help attendees create a low stress environment for their livestock which will lead to a better quality food product.
