Title: Saturday Stream Snapshot (SSS) Citizen Monitoring Program Volunteer Training
Description: Volunteers needed collect samples, transport samples to the lab, analyze samples, and enter data into a database. Every Saturday at 9:30 a.m., we train new volunteers and give tours of the lab. As a 501(c) 3 organization, we can offer volunteers Community Service Hours. Come join the fun!

Title: Project Learning Tree (PLT) Teacher Workshop
Description: Greenacres Water Quality Project LLC and Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste District are co-sponsoring a PLT Teacher Training Workshop at Greenacres Foundation Education Building. Teachers will receive a copy of the PLT curricula and other education resources. Teachers need to provide their own lunch. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Discounted graduate credit through the University of Cincinnati Center for Economic Development is available.

Description: Greenacres and the Cincinnati Chapter of Izaak Walton League will host a Family Fishing Program at Greenacres Pond. Poles, bait, and light refreshments are provided. Advance registration required.
