Title: Saturday Stream Snapshot (SSS) Data Sharing Potluck Brunch
Description: Come learn what we found out from the 2009 SSS Monitoring Data. Please bring a breakfast item to share and Greenacres will provide the table service, beverages, and breakfast meats. Brunch will start at 10:30 am followed by a pwer point presentation at 11:30 am. GIS maps of sample sites and copies of excel spreadsheets will be available to view. No reservations are required. Come join the fun!

Title: Classical Guitar for Beginners
Description: Have you been thinking about how much fun it would be playing the guitar? Guitar camp for 8-11 year olds will focus on the basic playing skills. You will learn to read and play music based on the notes from the first four strings, including strumming. Simple melodies will be used for the note reading, using quarter, half and whole note time values. Simple strumming patterns will be learned for the chord accompaniments, using the same quarter, half and whole note time values. Students should bring their own acoustic guitar. Instructor: David Taulbee

Title: Classical Guitar for Cool Kids
Description: Do you bomb out at Guitar Hero? Wouldn’t you rather be able to rock out on your own? Guitar Camp II will immerse you with intermediate playing skills for the guitar. You will learn to read and play music on all six strings and to strum chords on four, five and six strings. Melodies will be used for the note reading using quarter, half and whole note time values. Also, eighth notes and dotted - quarter notes will be learned. Basic strumming patterns as well as advanced strumming will be learned for the chord accompaniments, using all of the rhythmic time values learned for the note reading. Students should bring their own acoustic guitar. Instructor: David Taulbee

Description: Mud on material? Tree leaves as stencils? Tea bags as fabric dye? The art of batik is the application of wax and dye to create beautiful designs on fabric.
Learn the batik process, its history and its current use. But mostly, create your own batik pieces using the ancient process. You will be surprised how detailed your
