Demand is rising for activities that remove adults and children from the confines of classrooms and cubicles and engage them in meaningful hands-on programs that build confidence and encourage responsibility. Greenacres Equine Center offers a safe place for children and adults to learn to ride without the financial pressures of owning a horse. The goal of the program is to provide children and adults with a unique array of equine-related activities that develop self awareness and esteem by learning to handle, care for, and ride horses.
Centrally located in a barn on in the middle of Greenacres property, Greenacres Equine Center provides children and adults with a unique array of opportunities to learn about the intricate, fun-filled world of horses including both mounted and unmounted educational programs for the inquisitive child or adult. These informative classes range from horsemanship and general horse management to daily care and purchasing your own horse. Greenacres Equine Center mounted lessons specialize in secure, balance seat riding that give the novice rider a solid background in horsemanship. Both English and Jumping lessons are offered.
